• Texts are hand written in gouache ink through the process of pointed pen calligraphy, by @joviegalit

• Because Capiz is a natural material and that each product is written by hand, each piece may have small imperfections that make it uniquely yours.

• Care instructions:

  To care for this Capiz ornament, avoid water and moisture since the gouache text is not waterproof. Gently wipe the shell with a soft, dry cloth only. Avoid friction, pressure, and prolonged sunlight to protect the color and finish.

30% of the profits from this product will go to PAMALAKAYA, or Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas, a militant Filipino federation of small fishers’ organizations founded in 1987. They unite small-scale fishers in the fight for genuine fisheries reform and to defend their rights against large-scale commercial and foreign interests that contribute to poverty and environmental degradation.
