Parol Coconut Shell Keychains

Product Description

    Sizing: 3 inches long

A parol is a traditional Filipino Christmas lantern made to represent light and hope.

These Coconut Shell Parol keychain carry with them the warmth of the tropics and the artistry of Mindanaoan makers from Kidapawan, Cotabato. Each pair is from reclaimed coconut shell, an abundant and symbolic material in the Philippines, long revered as the “Tree of Life.”

In many Filipino communities, especially across Mindanao, the coconut tree sustains everyday life, from food and drink to shelter and craft. Artisans have long transformed coconut shells into household tools, jewelry, and ornaments, weaving both creativity and sustainability into their traditions.
